Overview: After identifying a lack of existing data, I spent 6 months conducting research to produce an inventory of industrial business and develop a theoretical background for analyzing industrial development in Tacoma, WA.
This map illustrates the location and land use code of industrial businesses and a corresponding key (located in the linked PDF) includes available parcel data and identifies businesses by name. Continued research will include interviewing relevant stakeholders and business owners to identify perceived impediments to industrial development in Tacoma.
